As our Practice Manager, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Benefact. Dan has joined Benefact with over four decades of extensive experience in complex project management, business development, specialist regulatory and engineering roles - including an impressive 30 years in senior and executive leadership positions!

Dan has joined us with an impressive educational background, holding a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), a Certificate IV in Project Management Practice, and a Certificate IV in Government (Procurement & Contracting). He’s a Chartered Professional Engineer, listed on the National Engineering Register, and is an active member of the Institution of Engineers Australia.

With a profound understanding of invisible disability, Dan leads with a heart full of compassion and inclusivity, ultimately striving to make a positive difference in the lives of every person he works with.

The eldest son of Italian immigrants, Dan’s personal and professional journey reflects his unwavering determination and resilience. His lived experience in invisible disability has further honed his empathetic nature, making him a genuinely compassionate and understanding leader.

Dan’s professional interests span acrosss project management and mentorship to strategic analysis and education. He embodies Benefact’s ‘Mission in Action’, championing positive change and advocating for a more inclusive and empathetic approach within the disability and business sectors.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys reading historical fiction novels, working on DIY projects in the company of his 'fur family', especially his chatty cattle dog Zoe, and having a relaxing coffee with his family and friends.

Perhaps most importantly… Dan can hook you up with some of the best of the best biscotti and gelato in town!
