Together, we’re unstoppable.

Round 01 — We know you’re a fighter

… And so are we.

At Benefact Occupational Therapy, we use a recovery and trauma informed practice framework, which means that we focus on what makes you, you! We understand that every person sees and experiences their world differently. We specialise in psychosocial and invisible disability, with a deep understanding of lived experience in disability - clients and staff alike.

We know that it is vital that all of our clients feel heard and respected - regardless of gender expression, sexuality, cultural background, or lifestyle. We always strive to create a safe and supportive 'judgement-free zone', and ensure that our clients are provided with the right tools and support to enable them to become confident and active members of their support team.

Round 02 — Life happens

We are currently providing services across the Greater Sydney area. Additional geographical areas may be considered on a case by case basis.

Being in community based occupational therapy, we don't have a set office or clinic that you need to travel to. Instead, we see you where it matters - this may be your home, in hospital, your workplace, public spaces, and even online via telehealth (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Skype, or Zoom).

We can also attend NDIS planning meetings, and meet with key members of your support team (e.g. GP, support coordinator, family, etc).

We get that life can get crazy at times! That's why we offer after-hours and weekend consultations by request.

Round 03 — We get that disability isn’t just physical

Benefact Occupational Therapy provides specialised psychosocial and invisible disability NDIS services to clients aged 16 and beyond.

Many of our clients present with complex psychosocial and/or invisible disability. We utilise a recovery-focused and trauma-informed practice framework - which means that we seek to ensure that all of our clients feel safe and supported all the time, every time.

Round 04 — We’re here to help

We understand that each and every one of our client are on their own journey to recovery.

We can assist with functional and care needs assessments (FCA), report writing (including access to the NDIS or SDA/SIL), assistive technology prescription, home modifications, life skills and carer training, emotional support, clinical care management, advocacy... The list goes on!
